Oblong snuffbox made of corozo.
The carved lid represents Napoleon Bonaparte congratulating a group of officers.
On the back are Napoleon and Marianne surmounted by two angels with laurel wreaths and the
imperial eagle. On either side are a cannon, a turret and foliage.
At the top and bottom are two stylized animal heads, one with sulphur eyes.
Condition: Very beautiful patina, some old restorations.
Dimensions: length of 11 cm x width of 5 cm.
Paris Empire period made in early 19th century.
