Fantastic large 19th century ivory stem representing a cavalry combat
Large stem in two-part carved ivory.
The lower part represents a cavalry combat and an infantry combat between ancient warriors, inspired by the Trajan column.
The upper part is carved with the head of a Roman warrior surmounted by a mobile masterpiece of turning. Amber tip.

Dimension: length of 52 cm.
Made in Munich circa 1840.
