Round tobacco box in tortoiseshell and gold, decorated with a miniature depicting a young woman seated with her elbows resting on the armrests, holding a globe in her left hand.

Gold mountings.

The rim and base are in tortoiseshell inlaid with gold stars.

Condition: good.

Dimensions: diameter 7.9 cm / height 2.7 cm (domed glass).

Paris hallmark 1798/1809 (guarantee + trace of the master’s mark + small control mark).

First Empire period.
