Large size meerschaum pipe representing the head of a Zouave.
He is depicted with his full beard and traditional hat with a plume.
Beautiful patina from use.
Amber stem.
In its original burgundy leather case with a beige velvet and silk interior bearing the inscription
“R” inside a triangle and “guaranteed genuine sea foam.” The letter “R” is also inscribed on the outside
along with the word “écume.”
Dimension: 35 cm long (pipe).
Made in Paris circa 1880–1900.
